It's a complete mix of stuff. I use, for the most part, Quink ink, which makes that lovely grey blue tinge. To get the glow in the windows, I put some bleach onto the Quink which makes it go POW ORANGEY WHITE. And then I add low and highlights with some black and white acrylic ink.
All brushed on. I water down the ink and just fill in the areas I know are going to be the darkest. Then it's just a layering process. I usually apply a final heavy dark coat, just to make it pop.
Detail is the last thing, I bring out areas with a dip pen (love <3), or a fine liner...depending on how thin.

That's pretty inventive, I thought it must be washed or something. How do you get the ink to look so smooth? Do you brush it or draw it?
